Οι Detroit Swindle είναι ένα σχήμα ηλεκτρονικής μουσική που ξεκινησε το 2011 από τους Maarten Smeets & Lars Dales. Το δίδυμο από την Ολλανδία κυκλοφορεί τις περισσότερες δουλειές τους μέσα από τη δική τους δισκογραφική, με την ονομασία Heist Recording. Η δημοφιλία τους εκτοξεύτηκε γρήγορα με κάποια από τα πρώτα τους κομμάτια ( The Wrap around, The Break up) , τα οποία και αριθμούν εκατομμύρια views στο youube.
Από τότε η δισκογραφία τους είναι ακατάπαυστη. Ο ήχος τους είναι ο ορισμός της σύγχρονης house με στπιχεία από disco, funkκαι οτιδήποτε άλλο ᾽μπορεί να φέρει χαμόγελο στο πρόσωπό σου᾽, όπως οι ίδιοι χαρακτηρστικά δηλώνουν.
Έρχονται στην Θεσσαλονίκη για πρώτη φορά, στην καλύτερη φάση της καριέρας τους, καθώς είναι πλέον στα δυνατότερα ονόματας της house σκηνής. Προσφάτως κυκλοφόρησε το 2ο abum(High life) τους ενώ ταgigs του πραγματοποιούνται στα πιο ποιοτικά clubs και festivals. ανά τον κόσμο.
Detroit Swindle is an electronic dance music act started in 2011 by Lars Dales & Maarten Smeets. The Dutch duo put out most of their music through their own label Heist Recordings and have quickly gained popularity through their early releases like The Wrap around, and The Break up. Their more recent output sees them
explore the broader corners of electronic music with the dreamy Tamarindus Hollandicus, and the sample- heavy Just not Norma. They've collaborated with and done remixes for artists like Tom Misch, Kerri Chan- dler, Mayer Hawthorne, Mark de Clive-Lowe, Hercules & Love Affair and Seven Davis Jr.
As avid record collectors of both old and new music, their DJ is as varied as their taste in music. Rather not limiting themselves to a certain sound, Detroit Swindle will play just about anything. So whether it's classic house, obscure disco, African funk or any other genre from across the globe: if it puts a smile on your face, they'll play it.
They run their house-focused label Heist Recordings since 2013. Heist has featured music from artists such as Frits Wentink, Pépé Bradock, Nachtbraker, Matthew Herbert, Ge-Ology, Byron the Aquarius, Adryiano, Alma Negra, Nebraska, Max Graef, Fouk and many more.
They carefully curate the label's output as well as it's look & feel, working closely with visual artist Bas Koopmans to match their personal aesthetics. The label is not only a showcase of their particular sonic view, it's also a meeting place for likeminded artists. Their artists are brought together by the duo with label show- cases and special projects such as the yearly Roundup EP; a tradition where every artist of that year remix- es another artist, effectuated by the luck of the draw. With residencies throughout 2018 at clubs Like Berlin's Prince Charles and Phonox in London, their sophomore album High Life coming out May 2018, and a world tour with their new live show following that release, it'll be hard to miss them this year

H Βερολινέζα Cinthie είναι εδώ και χρόνια μια από τις πιο αγαπητές και σεβαστές μορφές της ηλεκτρονική μουσικής, τόσο στην γενέτειρά της όσο και σε όλο τον κόσμο. Το αμίμητο dj στυλτης της έχει αποφέρει ένα γεμάτο πρόγραμμα από gigs σε Παρίσι, Λονδινό, Άμστερνταμ, Βαρκελώνη, Στοκχόλμη, Σεούλ και Οζάκα. Η Cinthie ασχολείται με το DJing απότις αρχές των 90s και τα set της ακτινοβολούν την βαθιά της γνώση.
Τα τελευταία χρόνια την βρισκουν να θέτει τις βάσεις για τις μελλοντικές της φιδοξίες. Χτίζει το studio της , όπου μπορεί κανείς να βρεί κάποια από ταπιο σημαντικά και σπάνια drum machines και synthesizers που έχουν ποτέ υπάρξει.
Μαζί με τον Diego Krause, Ed Herbst and stevn.aint.leavn ' αποτελούν την κολλεκτίβα Beste Modus/ beste freunde, ενώ παράλληλα ᾽τρέχει᾽και τις ᾽Unison Wax᾽και ᾽ We_R House᾽. ροσφάτως ξεκίνησε και την 803 Crystalgrooves η οποία αποτελεί κυρίως μια πλατφόρμα για τις δικές της παραγωγές.
Διατηρείresidiency με δικό της show (Beste Muisik) στον ραδιοφωνικό σταθμό Fritz στο Βερολίνο, ενώ ασχολείται με τoδισκοπωλείοElevateBerlin.
Berlin's Cinthie has grown to become one of the most revered and respected figures in contemporary electronic music in recent years both in her hometown and across the globe. Her touring schedule regularly sees her playing her inimitable DJ in hotspot cities like Paris, London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Stockholm, Seoul, Osaka, and of course her beloved hometown Berlin where she was born and raised on the ever flowing current of electronic music coming from the city. Djing in said city since the early nineties as a teenager Cinthie's depth of knowledge radiantly shines through in her sets and her productions, which traverse through a broad range of classic and contemporary House and Techno sounds.
Recent times have seen Cinthie look inwards towards her aspirations for§ the future, and as a result, dedicated a huge portion of her time to building her own studio, featuring a wide spectrum of some of the most noteworthy vintage drum machines and synthesizers in existence.
Along with Diego Krause, Ed Herbst and stevn.aint.leavn, Cinthie represents the Beste Modus / Beste Freunde collective, amongst running Unison Wax and We_R House on top of the main labels and most recently launching her 803 Crystalgrooves imprint to critical acclaim, a platform which will become a huge focus for her own productions for the foreseeable future. On top of this there's a burgeoning relationship with Will Saul's Aus imprint bubbling away with her debut for the label dropping in November 2018, and she'll continue curating her weekly radio show Beste Musik on Radio Fritz.
Cinthie has also recently shifted focus towards Elevate Berlin, a label collective, digital and physical record store in the heart of Friedrichshain, a home for all of the label collectives output as well as releases from friends and affiliates.
